I am a visual thinker and a visual storyteller.

In 2019, I picked up a camera for the first time.

In 2021, I won my first official award for a film from the  “dedicated to strangers” series.

A Morally Questionable Situation

The “Dedicated to Strangers” 2nd installment focuses on the homeless. I was motivated to investigate homelessness out of the belief that they represent the most vulnerable members of our society and are a indicator of the social issues and mentality.

On November 19, 2021, this film won “Best Documentary in the College/University” category of the Hellbender Festival.

Dedicated to Strangers

“Dedicated to Strangers” was concieved with the idea that everyone has a story to tell. Match this with my frequent travels (28 countries and counting), I wanted to document the encounters I had. This thought culminated in returning to the United States and interviewing communities struck with critical issues including the Homeless, Native Americans, African American (before BLM), and Texas Germans.

I started animating in 2014, as I was building a story driven fighting game in Unity. Over 3 months, I animated 2 characters by hand. One result can be seen here..

Over the next years, I regularly returned to animation as a hobby and professionally. Most recently,  as part of an animated children’s series pitch. My role was the concept, storyboard and direction. Mazza was animated by Ruth Sutor. The paper airplane was completely animated by me in Blender using Freestyle and Greasepencil.

Fuwa Creative

Fuwa Creative e.V. is an art club that I founded in Furtwangen. It’s goal is to create platforms to showcase local talent and network creatives. The 3 Platforms are Social Media, an Art Vending Machine and the Furtwangen Artist Magazine. To support the growth of these platfroms, I created several ad spots for various projects.
